Mr. James Thum is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Algobizz Limited Group, supporting strategic initiatives, corporate operations, and business development across the Group.
Mr. Thum brings over two decades of cross-industry experience spanning information technology, international project management, corporate consulting, mining, commodities, and entrepreneurship. His multidisciplinary background enables him to contribute to operational excellence, business transformation, and strategic execution within the Group.
Mr. Thum graduated from Staffordshire University in 2001 with an Honours Degree in Business IT Computing. He is also a Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Prior to joining Algobizz Limited Group, Mr. Thum spent 10 years with Shell International, where he was involved in information technology and international project management. He later held leadership and entrepreneurial roles across multiple industries, including mining, property consulting, tourism, and the food & beverage sector, where he successfully established and expanded the Memorie Café brand to 11 outlets across Malaysia.
Mr. Thum currently also serves as an IPO & Corporate Consultant and holds the position of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for several companies, bringing extensive experience in corporate strategy, investment, business scaling, and organizational development.

谭先生拥有超过二十年的跨行业专业经验，涵盖资讯科技（Information Technology，IT）、国际专案管理、企业顾问、矿业、大宗商品及创业经营等多个领域，具备丰富的营运管理、业务转型及企业策略执行经验。
谭先生于 2001 年毕业于英国 Staffordshire University，并取得商业资讯科技（Business IT Computing）荣誉学士学位。他亦持有微软认证系统工程师（Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer，MCSE）及美国项目管理学会（Project Management Institute，PMI）颁发的项目管理专业人士（Project Management Professional，PMP）资格认证。
加入 Algobizz Limited Group 前，谭先生曾于 Shell International 服务十年，主要负责资讯科技及国际专案管理工作。其后，他先后于矿业、产业顾问、旅游及餐饮等多个行业担任管理及创业职务，并成功创立及拓展 Memorie Café 品牌，将业务发展至马来西亚全国共 11 家分店。
目前，谭先生亦担任多家企业的首次公开募股（Initial Public Offering，IPO）及企业顾问，并出任多家公司首席投资官（Chief Investment Officer，CIO），在企业策略、投资管理、业务扩展及组织发展方面拥有丰富经验。
